This year marks the 23rd annual Christkindl Market in Kitchener. Experience the joy of this international phenomenon and one of the Top 100 Festivals and Events in Ontario! Every Christmas, since medieval times, towns and cities across Germany come alive with the sights, sounds and smells of Christmas. Kitchener City Hall is home to Canada’s original Festival of German Christmas. You will be amazed with the entertainment provided at this festive event. DAY 2: DECEMBER 7, 2019
Travel the countryside making your way to the pastoral setting of St. Jacob’s. Every week, hundreds of vendors bring out Ontario’s farm-fresh foods, crafts, imported goods and most things imaginable, plus amazing ready-to-eat foods at the St. Jacobs Farmers Market. Discover top brand names in clothing, footwear, décor, housewares and toys at the St. Jacob’s Outlet Mall. Return to the hotel before enjoying this evenings entertainment at the Christkindl Market. Check out of the hotel this morning before enjoying one last opportunity to take in the Christkindl Market. After enjoying some of the sights, sounds and smells of an authentic German Christmas Market you will begin your journey home early afternoon. (B)
